Beginning

This is supposed to be a blog about "information or experiences related to the course and technology in libraries". Well.

Dick Bruna, who is responsible for the book above and the five books in the header, is probably one of the best-known children's illustrators. He is the creator of Miffy, a rabbit whose fame has led her image to grace postage stamps in Japan.

In addition to children's books, he illustrated hundreds of covers for his father's publishing house, A.W. Bruna & Zoon, and made posters for organizations such as the Red Cross and UNICEF. His work is simple, powerful, and charming, and well worth a first or second look.
