Starlings

Oh My Cavalier is Julianna Swaney.

Drawing inspired by Eugene Schieffelin, who had ideas about importing and releasing all the birds mentioned in Shakespeare's works. In the 1890s he released some European starlings in Central Park; today starlings are considered one of the most invasive non-native species of bird.
